Care and Maintenance
These pillows are designed for outdoor use, but in order to prolong the life of the pillow we recommend that you bring it in or protect it from the elements when not in use. All fabrics are treated to resist mildew. However, mildew is created by the presence of dirt, combined with the prolonged exposure to moisture without proper drying. A regular cleaning program consisting of hosing down the pillows and allowing them to completely dry in open air and sunlight will enhance the appearance and life of the pillows. Spot-clean stains with a mild detergent and water solution.

Sunbrella fabric is water-repellant. If kept dry, it will not support the growth of mildew as natural fiber will. Depending on depth of color, Sunbrella fabrics provide up to 98% UV protection. Whites and lighter colored fabrics provide less protection than darker fabrics. This protective factor is inherent to the product and will not diminish through use or exposure to the sun.
